1. Only American Sportsman Club members are allowed to hunt on the club property. This excludes non-members for paid hunts.
2. Youths under the age of 18 may hunt on the club grounds with the supervision of an adult club member.
3. All Ohio Hunting and Trapping rules and regulations apply on the club grounds. (Unless different rules stated within our rule book.)
4. All members hunting, scouting, or walking on club grounds must have with them their current membership badge or membership card, and be willing to show them to any member who requests to see them.
5. It is club members responsibility to see if other club members are hunting on club grounds, and ask any non-members to leave the premises immediately.
6. All members hunting, scouting, walking on club grounds must sign in before the activity and sign out when finished the activity.
7. All members hunting, scouting, walking on club grounds must wear orange vest in accordance with ODNR rules when hunting is in season.
8. Absolutely NO ATV's or motorized vehicles on the club grounds at any time. (Unless authorized by the Board of Directors.)
9. Public joining or rejoining the club must do so by Sept. 1st to have hunting privledges.
10. The American Sportsman Club is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.
11. The American Sportsman club is not responsible for any injuries that occur on the club grounds.
12. Club members hunt at their own risk when hunting on the club property.
13. The use of rim fire or center-fire metal case shells firing either a jacketed or single lead bullet is prohibited on the club grounds. ( The use of 22 cal. and 17 cal. rifle for squirrel, raccoon, and ground hog hunting is excluded.) (The use of a hand gun and ODNR approved straight-walled rifles for deer hunting is also excluded.) Absolutely NO High-powered rifles.
14. All club members should park in the club parking lot. No member should park by the lower pavillion area, the pond area, or off of route 172 when hunting. (Unless authorized by the Board of Directors.)
15. No permanent tree stands are to be built on the club grounds. *Please see tree stand rules for more information on tree stands.
16. Members should be courteous and respectful of other club members hunting on the club grounds.
17. Members should NOT shoot towards the club house, garage, or trailer when hunting. (KNOW YOUR TARGET AND BEYOND!)
18. Members hunting should know if the ranges are open or closed and not hunt in areas around or behind ranges. (The pistol and rifle range is usually open during archery season unless otherwise stated.)
19. All concealed carry rules enforced by ODNR apply to all club members hunting on the club grounds.
